The Scottish Feminist Network regularly host stalls in towns and cities across the country. The stalls are aimed at raising awareness of issues with the General Public that impact women and children: issues within schools, the workplace, sports as well as imminent legislative changes.
In 2022 and 2023 Forth Valley Feminists (who comprise our Falkirk, Clackmannanshire and Stirling groups) organised day-long women’s festivals. There were a range of speakers covering topics such as obstetric violence, women and sport, prostitution all the way through to pelvic health. It's always a fantastic opportunity to network with women in Scotland, learn a lot more about what is happening to the rights of women (and those impacting children) and have an incredibly enjoyable day.
Videos of the speakers can be viewed on the FVF YouTube Channel https://youtube.com/c/ForthValleyAFWC
